Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how CirroSilicon Solutions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Stiorrian at stiorrian.com and its subdomains (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. Your email address and sign-in credentials, managed through Amazon Cognito, plus the display name and settings you configure.
  • Public profile content. Anything you choose to publish on your directory listing, About page, or booking page — name, photo, bio, specialties, services, and similar details.
  • Chart and client data you enter. Birth dates, times, locations, names, and contact details for the profiles you create, along with your interpretation texts and notes. This can include information about people other than you (your clients) — see “Your clients’ data” below.
  • Booking and inquiry data. Messages, booking requests, and related details submitted through your public pages.
  • Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and plan details, but we never see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage and log data. Standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request logs, used for security and to keep the Service running.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • provide the Service — compute charts, store your profiles and interpretations, render your public pages, and deliver share links;
  • process subscriptions and, through your connected Stripe account, client payments;
  • generate AI interpretation drafts when you request them;
  • respond to support requests and send service-related notices;
  • secure, debug, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. AI processing

When the Service generates interpretation text, chart placement data (and, for chart digests, the relevant interpretation texts) is sent to our AI providers — Anthropic and Amazon Web Services (Bedrock) — solely to generate the requested text. We send what the model needs for the reading, not your clients’ contact details.

4. When we share information

  • Service providers. We use Amazon Web Services for hosting and storage, Stripe for payments, and the AI providers named above. Each processes data only to provide their service to us.
  • Content you publish or share. Your public profile, directory listing, and booking pages are visible to anyone. Share links and live-session links are visible to anyone who has the link.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the Service.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for essential purposes only: keeping you signed in, remembering workspace preferences, and caching lookups that make pages load faster. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Your clients’ data

Practitioners using the Service enter information about their clients — birth data, names, contact details, and readings. For that data, the practitioner decides what is collected and how it is used; we process it on their behalf to provide the Service. If you are a client of a practitioner who uses Stiorrian and have questions about your information, contact your practitioner first; you can also reach us at the address below.

6a. Uploaded decks and rune sets

A practitioner on a Professional plan can upload card images for a tarot or oracle deck of their own, or stone pictures for a rune set of their own. We store those images on Amazon Web Services under the practitioner’s account, together with the card or stone names and descriptions they enter and a record of when they confirmed their rights to the images and which version of that confirmation they agreed to. The images are served wherever the practitioner chooses to present a reading made with the deck or set — share links, live sessions and exported PDFs — and are removed from our storage when the deck, the set or the account is deleted; copies already held by a viewer’s browser or by our content delivery network can remain until they expire. See the Terms for the rights and takedown provisions that apply.

7. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete content or your account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, billing, or security reasons.

8. Security

We protect your data with industry-standard measures: encrypted connections (TLS), encryption at rest, scoped access controls, and managed authentication. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security — if we learn of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Your rights and choices

You can access and update most of your information directly in your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. To exercise these rights or to delete your account, contact us at [email protected].

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children and may not be used by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

The Service is hosted in the United States on Amazon Web Services. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
